Description of Reseller Program Basic Package for £19.99 + vat a month
Reseller Basic package is designed for small computer business who would like a fully managed online shop to help them have a presence on the internet. The main advantage is for shop owners who don’t always hold stock. When a customer visits a shop, and the item is out of stock, usually you will loose that sale. An x2tek reseller shop can be used as a backup tool to allow customers to order from your own branded website if you don’t have the item in stock. You can also add your own pages, news content and banners using a simple content management system.
If using Reseller Basic, You need to be aware that your site may not rank well or cannot be listed in its entirety in search engines due to something called the duplicate content issue, namely with Google. Duplicate content is where two websites are similar by a certain percentage, and search engines penalize sites that fall into this category. It’s a big issue facing many online shops. Pages of news and custom content can be listed, and may help increase traffic.
Currently x2tek reseller sites fall into this trap, and sites have to be different from each other to be classified as quality content, and thus receive listings in google. Sites with duplicate content end up being blacklisted by google if indexed. We will be releasing a new package in the near future to combat this problem, and users can upgrade to this new package when it is released. The new package will basically mean we will need to customise your site so it is unique as much as it can be. For such a low monthly fee, most of our customers agree that the pros far out weigh the cons with the program..
Commission.
Commission will only be awarded when an order has successfully been shipped. If an item has been returned by a customer for a refund, you will loose the commission earned on that product. Commission is paid on a per product basis and will be paid at intervals arranged by JLT Computers LTD either by cheque or bank transfer.
Marketing
You new site can be marketed through many means, including Shopping.com and other online price comparison sites. Google adwords and affiliations with websites. For reseller basic packages, as stated above, you cannot rely on Google listings for you main source of traffic due to the duplicate content issue stated earlier.
Cancellation and Refunds
You agree that the customization level made will be as stated in the setup method selected. You cannot expect extra services to be undertaken within this fee. If you require additional work, or would like us to add content for you, additional fees will apply.
If you wish to cancel from the program, please send an email requesting cancellation to web@x2tek.co.uk from your registered email address. Please note that the setup fee is non-refundable, so if you wish to cancel, please think carefully before doing so.
JLT Computers Ltd and its software partner Redbeck Group reserves the right to cancel the service at any time. In this event customers will be entitled to a pro rata refund based upon the remaining period of membership. If a customer contravenes JLT Computers Ltd and its software partner Redbeck Group terms of service a refund will not be issued in the event of a cancellation. Customers may cancel their account at any time. Any incentives offered to customers when opening the account will also be cancelled. Customers may be given the option to purchase services which were offered as start-up incentives in the result of a cancellation. Fees charged on a prepay basis are non-refundable.
Indemnification
Customer agrees that it shall defend, indemnify, save and hold JLT Computers Ltd and its software partner Redbeck Group harmless from any and all demands, liabilities, losses, costs and claims, including reasonable attorney's fees asserted against . JLT Computers Ltd, its agents, its customers, officers and employees, that may arise or result from any service provided or performed or agreed to be performed or any product sold by customer, its agents, employees or assigns. Customer agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless . JLT Computers Ltd against liabilities arising out of; (1) any injury to person or property caused by any products sold or otherwise distributed in connection with JLT Computers Ltd’s server; (2) any material supplied by customer infringing or allegedly infringing on the proprietary rights of a third party; (3) copyright infringement and (4) any defective products sold to customer from JLT Computers Ltd’s servers.

JLT Computers Ltd makes no warranties of any kind, expressed or implied for services we provide. JLT Computers Ltd disclaims any warranty or merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. The includes loss of data resulting from delays, nondeliveries, wrong delivery, and any and all service interruptions caused by JLT Computers Ltd, its associates and its employees. JLT Computers Ltd reserves the right to revise its policies at any time.
